This is the Aristo Rogers engine after it went through the first of many changes. It presently is undergoing yet another change and is all apart again. Great little engine. The combination car is a modified Bachmann combo which carries the batteries and radio controls.


This is the infamous early radio controlled Bachmann that many of us started out with. It since has been bashed to death and now lays in many pieces. The cars are ERTL banks.


This coal train contains all wood cars with coal, simulated with carved, painted styrofoam. Trucks and couplers are Aristo.


This picture was originally taken to test depth-of-field with my camera. The train is about 10ft long. The train is made up of a combination of Aristo and Bachmann cars.


This goose is made up of an ERTL bank truck and a Backmann caboose. The drive unit is a bashed Aristo FA diesel engine block.


The ditcher started out as a toy that got bashed and mounted on a wood car. The controls on the side were left so the grandchildren can play. The work car is a Bachmann flat car with a bashed caboose mounted on it. The bottom of the caboose winds up in the next picture.


This crane is based on a photo from a very old copy of Model Railroader Magazine. The base is from the caboose in the picture above. The rest of the parts are junk box or made from wood.


This crane is a Lionel standard gauge crane with Aristo trucks installed.


This blacksmith's car is based on an article in an early Garden Railways Magazine. Construction followed the article pretty close.
